Broken Dreams elements retreat

What?

elements retreat is a weekend full of worship, Bible study, great food, games, and a great opportunity to relax and spend time with friends. The theme for the retreat is Broken Dreams. Dreams are inspiring. Dreams give hope. Dreams give strength to keep going. But what happens when the dream is broken or doesn’t seem to be coming true? What happens when this dream of God using you in powerful ways just isn’t happening as you thought it would? Joseph was a dreamer. His life was filled with visions of what God would do through him. But sitting at the bottom of a prison pit for years, his dreams looked like they were shattered. What are you supposed to do with a broken dream? How do you hold onto the vision God has given you? What role do you play in making your dreams a reality? Join us at the elements retreat as we search into God’s heart for our dreams and his desire for them to be fulfilled, as well as how our obedience to Him affects the outcomes of the dreams for our future.

Where?

Camp Ihduhapi in Laretto, MN (Located on Lake Independence, about 45 minutes West of the Twin Cities). We’ll meet at Door B of North Heights Church, Arden Hills Campus and from there car pool to the retreat center.

When?

Friday – Sunday, March 23-25 Meet at North Heights Lutheran Church, Arden Hills Campus at 6:30pm on Friday, March 23. We will return to North Heights around 2pm on Sunday, March 25.

Cost?

Cost for the retreat is $45. Make checks payable to North Heights.

What to Bring? (aka “the packing list”)

Sleeping bag, pillow, Bible, pen, notebook, towel, personal care stuff (soap, shampoo, toothbrush, tooth paste, etc.), warm clothes for outdoor games (i.e. sludge ball), and a great attitude. If it can’t get lost, stolen, or damaged, we suggest you leave it at home.

How do I sign up?

 

Register online or print & fill out the registration form and return it to the elements ministry by Tuesday, March 13th.

  • Turn it in at the gathering on Tuesday nights.
  • Turn it in on Sunday morning at the 10:45am Service.
  • Mail to: elements College Age Ministry c/o North Heights Church 1700 W Hwy. 96, Arden Hills, MN 55112
