Adult Summer Study

Amazed. Is that your response when you think of yourself? Positively, joyfully, awestruck, amazed? You have a design and a destiny that you may have only begun to tap. You might be young or old, sure of your purpose or just figuring it out, close to the Lord or far from him. Imagine what it would be like to be so clear about what God had in mind when he made you that security, confidence, joy, contentment, and great expectations were your regular starting point. Wouldn’t that be amazing?

Collectively, we have significant opportunity to influence the world around us for great good when we share and encourage one another in our amazing design and destiny, yet many of us live and work independently, unaware of the power we have together. Some of us think all the good stuff is waiting for us when we get to heaven and so we patiently endure until we get there.Most of us don’t walk in amazement here and now, many of us are far from it! This summer is a time to change all that.

Join us as a church as we set aside six Wednesday nights* through June and July to BE AMAZED. We’ll study and discuss the two central themes of the Bible—the relationship and responsibility God offers us—in ways that bring simplicity and power. The relationship God offers is oneness with him and with one another. The responsibility we are privileged to have is to represent him and bring the goodness of his kingdom.

This is for everyone! We’ve focused our ministries so we could be together in one place, learning to be amazed people.

• Gone to the lake on weekends? Let this be your church gathering for the week.
• Haven’t ever participated in a study before? Now is the time to start!
• Want to be part of a movement? People from all our sites come together!

The class is based on the book, Covenant and Kingdom, by Mike Breen. Copies can be obtained in the North Heights library or at Cornerstone Bookstore. It will not be necessary to have a book for the class.
